Paid means verified.

Payments count when the provider confirms them and the amount matches. A transfer screenshot is evidence, not money.

The browser is never the bank.

A redirect after checkout is not a posting. Meludu verifies the transaction with the provider, and checks amount, currency, reference and merchant before it allocates anything. A duplicate notification cannot create a second payment.

A screenshot is evidence, not money.

An uploaded transfer screenshot stays pending evidence. It cannot release a vehicle on its own. Only a cashier confirming funds can.

Money, in the order it happens.

Documents that say what they are
Estimates, quotes, pro formas, invoices, receipts and credit notes each have their own status and numbering. A pro forma is labelled as not a tax invoice and creates no receivable.
Tax on your approved route
Each business is set up with an approved tax status, invoice route and document series. If a certification response is rejected or uncertain, the document never looks certified, and Meludu never creates a certification code of its own.
Where the money goes
Payments are meant to settle to the dealership, on a route agreed at set-up. Which channels appear depends on what the merchant account enables, and Meludu shows only those.
Deposits kept apart
Deposits and unapplied receipts stay separate from earned revenue until an approved conversion allocates them.
Refunds with two people
A refund needs a reason, an eligible amount, the original payment route and an independent approver. A timed-out refund is reconciled before anyone retries it.
Cash-up that tells the truth
A payment captured but awaiting settlement is neither missing nor settled cash. Provider settlement is reconciled separately.
Discounts that add up
Discounts on the same deal are judged together, so splitting a request cannot slip past an approval limit.
Books you can export
Balanced postings export with their source IDs, tax components and branch mappings. Replaying an export gives the same batch.

Coming in later releases

Split billing between customer, fleet, insurer and warranty payers, payables and expenses, and platform fee invoicing kept separate from dealer revenue.
