Every car, from the day you buy it.
New or used, each car has one record. You always know where it is, whose it is and what you want for it.
One record holds the chassis number, the owner, the place and the price.
Nothing lives on a loose list, and the same chassis number cannot be added twice.
- Whose car is it
- Cars you own, cars on consignment and demo cars are kept apart, and each car is marked new or used.
- Hold it, then take the deposit
- A customer can hold a car for fifteen minutes while they pay. A confirmed deposit reserves it.
- Show the cars online
- Choose which cars go on your showroom page and send customers the link. Sold cars come off it. The page shows your asking price and nothing you paid.
- Cars that sit too long
- You set a number of days. Cars that stay longer are flagged on your stock list.
- Checked before handover
- A car cannot be handed over until its pre-delivery inspection has passed.
Nobody sells the same car twice.
When a customer holds a car, nobody else can hold it. A deposit confirms the hold. If a payment arrives after the hold has run out, the money is kept aside for you to review. It never takes another customer’s car.
