Privacy notice.
What Meludu keeps when you use meludu.com, why, and how to have it erased. Last updated 29 September 2026.
Who this covers
This notice covers the website at meludu.com. It does not cover the product at app.meludu.com, or the customer pages that a dealer shows its own customers. Meludu runs this website. You can write to us at [email protected].
What we collect, and why
We collect details only when you send the walkthrough form. They are your name, your dealership, your email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, your role, how many branches you have, what you sell, and anything you write in the notes. We also keep the page you sent the form from, the time, and the version of this notice that you agreed to.
We use these details to reply to you and to arrange a walkthrough. We do not use them for any other purpose, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Why we may do this
You agree to it by ticking the box on the form. Nothing is saved unless you tick it. You can withdraw your agreement at any time by writing to us, and we will erase your request.
Where the details are kept, and who sees them
Requests are kept in our database, hosted with Railway, which runs our systems for us. Only Meludu staff who sign in to our operator console can read them. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with anyone else, except providers who host our systems on our behalf.
How long we keep them
We keep a request while we are in touch with you about a walkthrough. We erase it when you ask, and we do not keep requests for longer than we need them.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising and no scripts, fonts or images from other companies. Our hosting provider’s server logs may record network addresses, as web servers normally do.
To stop abuse of the form, we count how many requests come from one connection for up to an hour. That count lives in the memory of our server only. We do not save your network address in our database.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it, and object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and we will answer you. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
Children
This website is for people who run or work in car dealerships. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will change the date at the top. A request keeps the version of the notice that you agreed to when you sent it.
